About Us

I have worked in trade marks for 16 years from one side of the globe to the other. I really enjoy working exclusively in trade mark law and practice. I work with all types of businesses across all sectors providing commercially practical advice.

An interesting part of my practice has been working across many jurisdictions. I love learning about the exciting businesses we have in Tasmania and helping them to protect their trade marks, both in Australia and, as they expand around the world. I work with a network of trusted trade mark professionals in other jurisdictions to ensure that clients get the best advice and the broadest protection.

Raised and educated in Hobart I graduated law at UTAS in 1999 and was admitted to and enrolled as a Barrister and Solicitor in Tasmania in August 2000. In 2003 I commenced working in one of Ireland’s top Patent and Trade Mark Attorney firms. I was very fortunate to work with the Senior Partner who shared his knowledge and access to the most extensive portfolio of trade mark matters, including the Irish and European portfolios of many of the world’s biggest brands.
Shortly after I qualified and registered as an Irish Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney.

Following my return to Tasmania in 2010 I studied for a Graduate Certificate of Trade Mark Law and Practice at the University of Technology in Sydney. In 2011 I was registered as an Australian Trade Mark Attorney and shortly after set up my firm where I have practiced on my own ever since.

When I am not at work I am busy as a mother to three girls ranging from 4 to 11 years of age. If there is any time left I can be found outside, at the gym, or volunteering as a Board member for Kennerley Children’s Home.
